Sync latest database from server
Would be really helpful if we can fetch/sync latest database from/to the live server.
PHP 8 support
PHP 8 is scheduled to be released November 26, 2020. There is active work being done to ensure WordPress is compatible. It would be nice if we could test using Local.
Opt out media files while pulling a site
Please make an option to opt out media uploads while pulling a site from server to local.
Replace Sequel Pro with Sequel Ace
The Sequel Pro project is not longer maintained. The community forked the project and created "Sequel Ace" ( https://github.com/Sequel-Ace/Sequel-Ace ). Is it possible to replace "Sequel Pro" with "Sequel Ace" on Local? For example: Change "Download Sequel Pro" button to "Download Sequel Ace" (and other button to open the database in Sequel Ace).
Sync sites using Dropbox
It would be nice to move away from MAMP the only reason I still use it is because I can sync my sites between computers using dropbox with ease. This is a feature that has been ask for over and over again in the forums.
"Login to admin" button
It would be great if there was a way to quickly log into the backend of a site, in the same way that WP Engine's single sign-on works.
Create Addon hooks for the "Create new Site" screens
This came up in this topic in the forums: > I also want the ability to add new fields during the new site setup process. > > Either of the 3 steps are fine for this addon actually (Setup Site, Setup Env, Setup WordPress) preferably within the advanced section of one of them. > https://localwp.com/community/t/can-the-add-new-site-content-be-manipulated-using-the-content-hooks-or-actions/21996
Pull only database so Git can continue to version files.
Request from WPE Support: If we had a way of only syncing the database while using Local this would allow Git to work alongside it so they get both advantages. Versioning files, while also allowing customers to deploy database changes without 1) contacting support, 2) logging in via SSH, importing, search & replacing etc. If we could push/pull only the database everything else is handled for them. It should be a pretty big QOL improvement.
Group sites in folder in sidebar

Store sites on other drives on Windows
Currently, Local on Windows does not work with Apache when the site is stored in another drive as the main drive. Example: Local is installed on my C:\ drive, when I create a new site and choose a folder location on the D:\ drive, the site shows 'no input file not specified' and nothing else. See https://localwp.com/community/t/no-input-file-specified-using-php-7-3-5-or-7-4-1-5-6-39-works/20576/24
